Mooi nieuws en een mijlpaal! Onze Ultra Fine Particle (UFP) monitor is binnen. Nu kunnen we in eigen beheer ultrafijnstof meten.

Ultrafijnstof is de fractie van fijnstof met de allerkleinste afmeting: kleiner dan 0,1 micrometer. Bij inademen van ultrafijnstof dringen de deeltjes in de longen en kunnen ook via de bloedbaan andere organen bereiken. Met de UFP meter kunnen we dus zelf onderzoek doen naar de relatie tussen houtrook en deze gevaarlijke kleine deeltjes.
